The Calculator of Privilege is a first-of-its-kind practical tool, first created in collaboration with the Law Society of Scotland and used as part of their EDI Certification Course. Its purpose is to determine the privilege level of your firm, organisation or team.

This Scottish Legal Edition uses a series of questions to gather information about an individual's childhood, education, heritage and current situation. It then uses this information to calculate the individual's level of - or lack of - privilege.

We are delighted to announce that we now have this tool available for use by all legal organisations and law firms. We can also create a bespoke version for the needs of your individual organisation or team in other industries and sectors too.

Understanding your privilege - individually and as a larger organisation - induces meaningful reflection. It sparks conversations and serves as an insightful tool for understanding your current EDI landscape and for setting your EDI goals.
